Many thanks for sending me the draft despatch

to. Tehran about the issue of Kingīs Regulations for

controlling the traffic of opium from the Persian Gulf in

British ships, which I return. We have no alterations

to suggest.

You will no doubt let us have copies of this

despatch and the despatch to Washington when they have gone, and it would be convenient if we could have a copy

of the notes of the

Conference, for record here.
